About
Kazurei Week is a celebration of the relationship between our beloved
Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa from
Buddy Daddies!During this week-long event, participants are highly encouraged to indulge themselves in the creation of new fan content for this couple in accordance with the prompts provided.This event is held from 28 June - 4 July! The reason that we decided for it to start on the 28th of June is because that is the median date between Kazuki and Rei’s birthdays :)

Guidelines
There will be 3 categories of prompts for each day (an AU, a trope and a quote).
You are not required to use all the prompts for each day. Feel free to use one, or even mix and match however you like!
Only 18+ are allowed to create NSFW content.
For NSFW, there will only be one prompt for each day which you can use by itself or together with any of the SFW prompts as you wish!
All kinds of fanworks are accepted! (fics, fanarts, edits, playlists, cosplays, etc) but they must be your own original piece! Do inform us if you come across any plagiarised works.

Rules
Please use the hashtag #kazureiweek2024 and tag @kazureiweek in order for your work to be retweeted. If your work still has not been retweeted after 24 hours, kindly dm it to us!
For NSFW content, please indicate your age in either your bio or carrd or we will not retweet your work.
Please strictly use the separate hashtag #kazureiweek2024nsfw for NSFW works and tag @kazureiweek to be retweeted.
We strongly encourage minors to mute the NSFW tag and refrain from engaging in 18+ content!
All works should include the appropriate warnings and tags where necessary.
This event does NOT condone Dead Dove and problematic content, so works with themes as such will STRICTLY NOT BE RETWEETED.
Examples of problematic themes not allowed are Noncon/Dubcon, Incest, Underage sexual content, Necrophilia, Bestiality, etc.
FAQ
Is polyshipping allowed?
Yes! As long as it features Kazurei.
Can I include other characters like Miri in my work?
Of course! Kazurei should be the central focus of your work but you are allowed to include other characters whether they’re from Buddy Daddies or not, even your own OCs.
Can we repost old works?
While we encourage you to create new content, you are also allowed to repost and promote your old/existing works!
Must my work be in English?
No, works in all and any languages are accepted so long as you follow the rules and guidelines!
An AU/trope/prompt that I want to use is not included in the list, can I still use it in my work?
Of course, feel free to go wild! You are just only required to use at least a minimum of one prompt from the list for each day and keep that the central theme of your work as much as you can.
Can we share this event on tumblr?
Feel free to spread the word! Just bear in mind that we do not have an official Tumblr account for Kazurei Week and that this event will be mainly held through Twitter.
Maybe it’d be better for the NSFW week to be held separately? Just in case someone wants to do both SFW and NSFW so they don’t have to choose between them?
You are welcome to do more than one piece per day so if you are 18 and over, you can definitely submit both SFW and NSFW fanworks for each day or whichever you like!
Is this event Kazurei only or is Reikazu and switch allowed?
Reikazu and switch are most definitely allowed. Kazurei is simply the name of the ship/event but whatever dynamic you choose to write between the two of them is completely fine!
Are there any plans to get a discord server going for this event?
We will not be having any discord servers for this event. Everything will just be hosted via twitter!
Is mention of suicide allowed if tagged appropriately?
Mentions/depictions of suicide are allowed with the exception that you provide the necessary trigger warnings.
